About Us
Hi, My name is Daniel Borrego, I'm 34 years old and the owner of Trujillo Creek Outfitters. I'm proud that I can offer you my services as a hard working, successful outfitter on my own 1,300 acre mountain property and on other Ranches I have leased the exclusive Hunting rights. I learned hunting and everything I know about the outdoors since I was a child - the outdoors are my world. I have a ranching and livestock background since I also manage a working Ranch. I was born and raised here in Southern Colorado and I know the area like nobody else. I definitely have proven for many hunting seasons that I have the experience and knowledge to guide you. I'm an active Big Game Hunter since 1982 and I have gotten my share of trophy mule deer and elk bulls. I cannot guarantee that you will kill an animal, but my honest values will ensure you receive the most professional enjoyable and hopefully successful hunt. I'm a sportsman with strict ethics and I'm committed to the fair rules of hunting. I hope you understand that you get a real hunt. The animals you see are not penned up, they live in the wild - roam free and have still their wild instincts. There is no baiting and we will not plant corn fields to attract them. Remember - you get a fair hunt. Of course we have first aid training, but so far we haven't had to use our knowledge, which proves that we know what we are doing. I professionally guide you for the lowest possible price, without sacrificing the success. Feel free to check out other outfitters and what they charge you for the same area / the same animals. With Trujillo Creek Outfitters you can book your 2007 and your 2008 Elk Hunt and still save some money. I would say that's a no-brainer. The hottest news - We also offer guided Elk Hunts in New Mexico, check out our New Mexico Web site What customers think and say about us: " I live in Southern Colorado, close to Trujillo Creek Outfitters and Daniel's Hunting grounds. I love the hunt and got several big bucks, bulls and bears. I did hunt in Canada, Michigan's UP, Texas and of course Colorado. I trade with hides and furs and I have a really good idea of what a nice trophy is. I hunted on both, private and public land. Last year was my first year with Trujillo Creek Outfitters - and guess where you will find me again this year. I don't miss public land at all, no reckless hunters with semi-military guns, no fights about who killed the animal and I certainly hate having bullets flying all over. I found the perfect hunting area with big numbers of animals and I was impressed of the size. Very important for me is the exclusive access and the experienced guide who goes the extra mile. My name is Werner, and I'm a satisfied hunter who will return for its trophy this year. I'm also looking forward to checking on Trujillo Creek Outfitters new hunting grounds in New Mexico". I think, Hunting Season is too short to screw it up. Thanks for an unforgettable Hunting Experience in 2006. | That's why I choose wisely where I hunt |
We want to say Thanks to all our loyal hunters and friends, who come back year after year.
We also want to thank those who provided us with their pictures and the permission
